ViD Signer increasingly more interest. It’s evidenced by the appearance in various media publications which include Validated ID’s project that has developed in ILO (eye clinic) with the deployment of the service ViD Signer.
Also, magazines from two important catalan organizations: PIMEC (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Catalonia) ACES (Catalan Association of Health Organizations) include in their pages information about the project.
Adopting electronic signatures from ViD Signer, ILO has taken a giant step toward its goal of managing their medical history patients completely electronic. ViD Signer allows to sign the last two pending documents of the clinical historial: the acceptance of the collection of personal data of patients and Informed Consent. All thanks to the technical and legal guarantees offered by our system which allows to sign these papers, legal-reaching, with the same security as you would on paper.
The project has enabled a “ViD Signer Kiosk” device designed to capture the acceptance of the collection of personal data of patients, and a “VID Signer Mobile” device intended for the collection of Informed Consents from the patient, although both sites are able to sign any of these documents from the handwritten signature of the patient and the electronic signature via the doctor’s cryptocard provided by the College of Physicians of Lleida.
Besides the implementation of the ViD Signer generic service, Validated ID has developed a Microsoft Word installable AddIn (which will be discussed in detail in following posts) which greatly simplifies system integration, allowing sending to sign any document created with Microsoft Word in the same way that it would send to a printer.
This project positions Validated ID in the health sector. The acceptance received and the interest shown by others makes us predict that this is just “The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship.”
